Adding the Collect More Information Task Step
Note: This topic is part of the Creating a Project Proposal Approval Workflow: Example series.
If the Risk Level of the proposal is set to High, Very High, or Not Identified, then the workflow starts the Collect More Information task step. It requires a user to provide more information.
To add the Collect More Information task step:
- In the Workflow Design toolbar, select the Add a task step icon and drag it onto the workflow design canvas.
- Position the new step to the right of the Evaluate Risk Level step.
- In the Step area, in the Name field, enter Collect More Information.
- In the Description text area, enter Collect additional information about the proposed project.
- Select Add , and select Form Task.
- In the Form Task Details dialog box, in the Name field, enter Provide More Information.
- In the Instructions text area, enter Provide more information about this project.
- Select OK.
- Select Save.
