Main Object Configuration

Most of your work in Oracle Primavera Cloud is performed within the context of a main object. Each main object contains a selection of apps that offer functionality specific to the main object. Main objects can contain other objects. For example, in the context of a project, you can work with activities, files, risks, tasks, and more. Your organization determines who can and cannot access each object and its configuration settings.

Primavera Cloud contains the following main objects:

• Projects: Perform a wide range of project management functionality.
• Portfolios: Develop and monitor related groups of projects, programs, and sub-portfolios.
• Programs: Programs include projects that are related and collectively contribute to the achievement of a program's outcomes and intended benefits.
• Workspaces: Create a hierarchical structure of your organization's work. Workspaces contain all other main objects, including child workspaces.
• Ideas: Identify and manage ideas for organizational goals or improvements. Turn ideas into projects.
