Integrate P6 EPPM
Setting Up P6 Integration Video
Integrate P6 EPPM with Primavera Cloud to transfer project data between the two applications. To transfer the data, you first need to add a P6 EPPM connection and then enable the required business flows. You can also modify the business flows by adding new fields or deleting existing ones. Additionally, you can modify the advanced settings to set the authentication method of the connection and encrypt data transfers between Primavera Cloud and P6 EPPM.
To set up a P6 EPPM integration, do the following:
- Add a P6 EPPM Connection
- Enable or Disable a P6 EPPM Business Flow. See P6 EPPM Default Business Flow Reference for information about available business flows.
Additionally, you can also do any of the following:
- Modify a P6 EPPM Business Flow
- Modify P6 EPPM Integration Advanced Settings
- Delete Cross-references for a P6 EPPM Connection
Data sent from a source application is tracked by a flow using cross-references. You can delete the history of all data sent and received using a specific P6 EPPM connection by deleting cross-references. Use this option only if you want to reset all cross-references related to this connection, and want all data to be regarded as new data by the destination application when you run the next flow.
Note: You can also delete cross-references for a specific job from the Monitoring page.
Once you have set up your P6 EPPM and Primavera Cloud connection and enabled the required business flows, use the Synchronize page of the workspace or project-level Integration app to run the business flows. For more information, see Run a Project Business Flow from a Project or Run a Global or Project Business Flow from a Workspace.
