Update an Approved Budget Plan from the Spending Page

When it is determined that an approved portfolio budget plan may need to be revised, a new scenario can be created by duplicating the approved plan. The new scenario can then be sent through the same review, propose, and approval processes as needed. The approved plan will remain in the Approved state until the new scenario has been approved.

To update an approved budget plan:

  1. In the object selector, select Portfolio, and then select View Portfolios List.
  2. Select a portfolio name.
  3. From the Main Menu, select Portfolio Analysis, and then select Spending.
  4. On the Spending page, select Revise Budget Plan.
  5. Enter a name for the new scenario, and select Go to Budget Planning.
  6. On the Budget Planning page, update the plan as necessary.
