Change a List Configured Field Value

You can update the value for certain list configured fields even if they are already associated with multiple objects in the application. In the table of configured fields, the View Column Name field specifies the original field name. The Column Label field specifies the custom label entered by the user. By default it matches the original field name. The Data Type column specifies the type of configured field.

Note: You cannot change the value for configured fields associated with microservice entities, such as programs, ideas, strategy, documents, files, and reports. If the value you attempt to change is associated with a microservice, you'll receive an error message.

To change a list configured field value:

1. In the object selector, select  Workspace, select View Workspaces List, and then select a workspace name.
2. From the  Main Menu, select  Summary & Settings, select Defaults & Options, and then select an object.
3. On the object page, select the Configured Fields tab.
4. In the table, select a configured field that is a List data type.
5. Select the List tab to open the List detail window.
6. Select and modify the value that you would like to change.
7. Select Save.
