Import Log

The Import log shows details and statistics from the P6 XML or XER import process. You can access the log from the notifications panel or from the Manage Services page.

Note: XER refers to Oracle Primavera Proprietary Exchange Format (XER). It is a proprietary file format used by the P6 EPPM application.

Use the Import log to select a workspace or project item in the list and view the number of objects that were created, updated, not updated, removed, or failed to import. For a selected item, the details pane shows the individual objects and their details separated by import action.

You can view the details of the imported baselines and scenarios by selecting the Import Action Details row and expanding the project whose details you want to see.

If any errors were encountered, you can view the error details and take the recommended steps to resolve them.
