Monitor an Approved Budget Plan from the Scorecard Page
Monitor projects within an approved portfolio budget plan to determine which projects are influencing the performance of the plan.
To monitor an approved budget plan:
- In the object selector, select Portfolio, and then select View Portfolios List.
- Select a portfolio name.
- From the Main Menu, select郞 Portfolio Analysis, and then select Scorecard.
- Select a portfolio to view the details in the detail window:
- On the Projects tab in the detail window, in the Show list, select one of the following:
- All: Displays all projects in the portfolio.
- Review: Displays all projects with a selected flag in the Review column.
- Budget Approved: Displays all projects in the approved budget scenario.
- Resource Approved: Displays all projects in the approved resource scenario.
- To view programs and measures associated with the selected portfolio, select the Programs or Measures tab in the detail window.
- On the Projects tab in the detail window, in the Show list, select one of the following:
- To compare current project data against project snapshots, in the project row, select the Context menu, and select View Snapshots.
Note: The Context menu is only available when there is an approved budget scenario.
- In the dialog box:
- Review the historical information provided in the snapshots.
- Select OK.
- If a project requires additional attention, mark it for review by selecting Review next to the project name.
Note: If further action is required, you can also revise the plan from this page.
Tips
- On the Projects tab, select Refresh to update the portfolio filter to ensure all projects are included in the Scorecard.
- To ensure the most up-to-date data displays, select Recalculate Measures. After you receive the notification that the job is complete, refresh the browser page to see updated values.
- When codes are displayed on the scorecard, by default only the code values are shown. To view code values with their associated colors, select the Show Cell Color toggle on the Scorecard page.
