Create a Project Proposal from an Approved Idea

After an idea has been approved, if you are using the default workflow, you can create a project proposal directly from the approved idea.

Note: Project proposals cannot be created in Primavera Cloud unless an approve project proposal workflow has been set. To set a project proposal workflow, see Configure the Approve Project Proposal Workflow Action.

To create a project proposal:

1. In the object selector, select  Idea, and then select View Ideas List.
2. In the table, select an idea name.
3. In the sidebar, select  Home.
4. Select the Action  menu, and then select Create Project Proposal.
5. Complete the form.

Tips

• As idea owner, you can also create a project proposal at the same time that you approve an idea. To do this, select the Action  menu, and then select Accept and Create Project Proposal.
• You can also do this from the Ideas List page. Select the  Context menu, and then select Create Project Proposal.
