Assign a Code to a Custom Log

Assign codes to custom logs to help track logs based on attributes they share. You can create many different codes related to different attributes and assign them to logs as required. Codes that you assign to a custom log only apply to the custom log in the project or program that you are currently working in. You can only assign a code to a custom log in the owning project or program.

To assign a code to a custom log:

1. In the object selector, select ﱆ Project or  Program, and then select a project or a program from the list.
2. From the  Main Menu, select  Summary & Settings.
3. On the Summary & Settings page, select Custom Logs.
4. On the Custom Logs page, select a log.
5. In the Codes detail window, select Assign.
6. Select the codes, and then select Assign.
7. Select Save.
