Assign a Configured Field to a Custom Log

Assign configured fields to custom logs to enable users to enter or view information that is important to your organization. Configured fields that you assign to a custom log only apply to the custom log in the project or program that you are currently working in. You can only assign a configured field to a custom log in the owning project or program.

To assign a configured field to a custom log:

  1. In the object selector, select Project or Program, and then select a project or a program from the list.
  2. From the Main Menu, select Summary & Settings.
  3. On the Summary & Settings page, select Custom Logs.
  4. On the Custom Logs page, select a log.
  5. In the Configured Fields detail window, select Assign.
  6. Select the configured fields, and then select Assign.
  7. Select Save.
