Reopen an Idea

You can reopen a rejected idea for reevaluation. Rejected ideas must be reopened before they can be processed further.

To reopen a rejected idea:

  1. In the object selector, select Idea, and then select View Ideas List.
  2. In the table, select an idea name.
  3. In the sidebar, select Home.
  4. Select the Action menu, and then select Reopen.
  5. (Optional) In the Reopen dialog box, complete the following fields:
    • Reason: A justification for reopening the idea.
    • Notify Users: One or more users to notify upon reopening the idea.
    • Comment: A short description or note that will be sent to notified users.
  6. Select Reopen.

    Note: The status of the idea is automatically changed to Owner Assigned upon reopening.
