Withdraw an Accepted Idea

Withdraw an idea acceptance to open it for reevaluation and return it to a status of Owner Assigned.

To withdraw idea acceptance:

1. In the object selector, select  Idea, and then select View Ideas List.
2. In the table, select an idea name.
3. In the sidebar, select  Home.
4. Select the Action  menu, and then select Withdraw Acceptance.
5. (Optional) In the Withdraw Acceptance dialog box, complete the following fields:
   • Reason: A justification for withdrawing the acceptance of the idea.
   • Notify Users: One or more users to notify upon the acceptance withdrawal.
   • Comment: A short description or note that will be sent to notified users.
6. Select Withdraw Acceptance.

   Note: The status of the idea is automatically changed to Owner Assigned upon withdrawal of an accepted idea.

Tips

• You can also withdraw an accepted idea using the  Context menu on the Ideas List page.
