Reject an Idea

Reject ideas to prevent further development and indicate they are not worth pursuing.

To reject an idea:

1. In the object selector, select  Idea, and then select View Ideas List.
2. In the table, select an idea name.
3. In the sidebar, select  Home.
4. Select the Action  menu, and then select Reject.
5. (Optional) In the Reject dialog box, complete the following fields:
   • Reason: A justification for rejecting the idea.
   • Notify Users: One or more users to notify upon idea rejection.
   • Comment: A short description or note that will be sent to notified users.
6. Select Reject.

   Note: The status of the idea is automatically changed to Rejected upon rejection.

Tips

• You can also reject an idea using the  Context menu on the Ideas List page.
