Review and Update Evaluation Scores for a Portfolio
Use the Prioritization Matrix to view the overall evaluation scores for all projects and programs within a portfolio and update the individual evaluation category scores as needed.
You can also update evaluation scores using import. See Create Rank Values by Import for more information.
To view the prioritization matrix:
- In the object selector, select Portfolio, and then select View Portfolios List.
- Select a portfolio name.
- From the Main Menu, select郞 Portfolio Analysis, and then select Prioritization Matrix.
- In the Show list, select one of the following:
- All: Displays results for all projects and programs in the portfolio.
- Budget Approved: Displays all projects in the approved budget scenario.
- Resource Approved: Displays all projects in the approved resource scenario.
- Review the evaluation scores and the category scores.
If the Score is out of sync indicator displays, select Re-Evaluate Project Scores to recalculate any out of sync project or program scores based off the updated matrix.
- Make updates to the subcategories as needed.
Note: Show Scores must be disabled to make updates.
- To post a question or review discussions on a project, select Discuss.
Note: If no comments have been posted to the Discussion panel, the Discuss icon is empty.
To post a new comment:
- In the Post a comment field, enter a comment, and select Post.
To reply to a comment:
- Select Comment.
- In the Post a reply field, enter a reply, and select Reply.
- Select Save.
Tips
- Select Show Scores to toggle the display of individual evaluation subcategory scores.
- Select Show Cell Color to toggle the display of ranking colors for each evaluation subcategory.
- To quickly clear score values from a subcategory, select one or more subcategory values from the same column, and then press Shift + Delete.
- To remove evaluation scores, select the 勞Reset Scores. You must have Reset Evaluation Score privilege. Reset Scores removes the scores for those objects within the portfolio for which you have Edit privilege.
- Individual evaluation scores can also be updated on the Evaluation page at the project or program level. Values entered on the Prioritization Matrix page are synchronized with values on the Evaluation page.
- You cannot edit or delete a posted comment.
- When an evaluation subcategory Source is set to Threshold, the Rank cell is set to read only and cannot be edited.
- Workspaces within the hierarchy can contain common evaluation categories, but those categories can have different subcategories. In this case, shared common category scores are displayed on the Portfolio Prioritization Matrix page.
