Remove a Resource from a Project

Remove a resource from a project when it is determined the resource is not needed for assignment in the project. A resource can only be removed if was assigned from a workspace. If a resource is assigned to an activity, it cannot be removed.

To remove a resource from a project:

1. Navigate to the project resources page
   1. In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
   2. From the  Main Menu, select  Resources, and then select Resource List.
2. Select the  Context menu next to a resource, and then select Remove.
3. Select Yes.
4. All changes made to this page are saved automatically.

Tips

• The Owned By column indicates the workspace or project to which the resource belongs. Most resource information can only be edited in the workspace or project where it is owned.
