View Risk Removal Impact Analysis Results

View which risks could have the greatest impact on the project cost and finish date. Set viewing and filtering options to narrow the results that are included in the tornado chart.

Note: You must enable the risk removal impact analysis in the analysis settings to view these results.

To view risk removal impact analysis results:

1. In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
2. From the  Main Menu, select  Risk, and then select Risk Analysis.
3. Select the Risk Removal Impact tab.
4. In the Response Context list, select an analysis context:
   • Pre-Response: Displays analysis results based on pre-response values.
   • Post-Response: Displays analysis results based on post-response values.
5. To view risk removal impact results for the project cost, select the Cost tab. To view impact results for the project finish date, select the Finish Date tab.
6. Select  Settings to configure the following filtering options:
   1. Ignore values smaller than +/-: Enter a minimum percentage value for which to include results. Results that fall below this value will be omitted from the tornado chart.
   2. Show top: Select the number of risks to display, beginning with the highest impact value.
   3. Select Save.

Tips

• To exclude a risk from the Risk Removal Impact Analysis, select Exclude from Risk Removal check box on the Risk Register page. You can see which risks were manually excluded from the Risk Removal Impact Analysis in the Risk Analysis Run Settings table to the right of the Chart.
• You can see the start date, end date, and duration of the most recently run risk analysis in the Risk Analysis Run Settings.
• You can configure the date format to include time to see the exact start and end time of the risk analysis. See Configure the Date Format for more information.
