Configure Time-Phased Reporting Options
You can configure options for reporting on resource assignment and scope assignment data distributed over a specific time period.
Note: To configure these settings, the report must have a Time Phased main subject area.
To configure time-phased reporting options:
- In the object selector, select Workspace, ﱆ Project, Portfolio, or Program, and then select an object name from the list.
- From the Main Menu, select Reports, and then select Report List.
- On the Report List page, in the table, select a report, select the Context menu, and then select Edit.
- In the Report Editor panel, in the pane, select the Timescale list.
- In the Timescale dialog box, configure the following options:
- In the Timescale Interval section, select a time interval for which to run the report.
- In the Timescale Start and End section, do one of the following to configure your timescale settings:
- To use the earliest project start and latest project finish dates, select Earliest Project Start to Latest Project Finish.
- To set a rolling range starting from today to a date relative to today, select Today in the Start section and a time period relative to today in the End section.
- To set a rolling range starting from the project start date to a date relative to today, select Project Start in the Start section and a time period relative to today in the End section.
- To set a rolling range starting from a specific date to a date relative to today, select a Custom Date in the Start section and a time period relative to today in the End section.
- To specify a timescale between two specific dates, select a Custom Date in the Start and End sections.
- Select OK.
- Select Save.
- In the Report Editor panel, select Close.
Tips
- With a Time Phased main subject area, you can also add time phase field rows to the report canvas. To see time phase rows, at least one column must be added to the report.
