View Risk Analysis Distribution Results

The distribution graph displays Remaining Cost, At-Completion Cost, Duration, Start Date, and Finish Date probabilities, as well as the Schedule & Cost Scatter Plot, for the entire project and individual activities.

To view risk analysis distribution results:

1. In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
2. From the  Main Menu, select  Risk, and then select Risk Analysis.
3. Select the Distribution Results tab.
4. In the View field, select the project or an individual activity to view results data.

   Note: Available activity results are determined by your risk analysis settings.

5. If enabled, in the Response Context list, select an analysis context:
   • Pre-Response: Displays analysis results based on pre-response values.
   • Post-Response: Displays analysis results based on post-response values.
   • Pre- and Post-Response: Displays analysis results of both response contexts.

     Note: When viewing the Pre- and Post-Response context, the pre-response is displayed in front of post-response. Post-response bars may be hidden completely if the pre-response value is greater than the post-response value.

6. Use the tabs on the page to view Remaining Cost, At-Completion Cost, Duration, Start Date, Finish Date, and Schedule & Cost distributions. You can also view statistics and analysis settings on each tab.

Tips

• Hover over data points, bars, and indicator lines for more specific information.
• Horizontal lines on the graph align with the cumulative frequency.
• You can see the start date, end date, and duration of the most recently run risk analysis in the Risk Analysis Run Settings.
• You can configure the date format to include time to see the exact start and end time of the risk analysis. See Configure the Date Format for more information.
