Update an Approved Portfolio Budget Plan from the Scorecard Page
When it is determined that an approved budget plan may need to be revised, a new scenario can be created by duplicating the approved plan. The new scenario can then be sent through the same review, propose, and approval processes as needed. The approved plan will remain in the Approved state until the new scenario has been approved.
To update an approved budget plan:
- In the object selector, select Portfolio, and then select View Portfolios List.
- Select a portfolio name.
- From the Main Menu, select郞 Portfolio Analysis, and then select Scorecard.
- Select a portfolio from the portfolio list.
- In the detail panel, select the Measures tab.
- Select the Actions menu, and select Revise Budget Plan.
Note: The Actions menu is only available when there is an approved budget scenario.
- Enter a name for the new scenario, and select Go to Budget Planning.
- On the Budget Planning page, update the plan as necessary.
Tips
- When the status of the new scenario is set to Approved, the original approved budget plan is set to Retired.
- You can update an approved budget plan directly on the Budget Planning page.
- To ensure the most up-to-date data displays, select Recalculate Measures. After you receive the notification that the job is complete, refresh the browser page to see updated values.
