Monitor a Workflow Instance
Monitor progress and details about active and archived workflow instances.
To monitor a workflow instance:
- In the object selector, select Workspace, select View Workspaces List, and then select a workspace name.
- From the Main Menu, select Workflows and Forms, and then select Monitor Workflows.
Note: By default, the Current Workspace filter is on and the Monitor Workflows page only displays the workflows of the selected workspace.
- On the Monitor Workflows page, select the Current or Archived tab.
- On the Current or Archived tab, view basic information about each workflow instance.
Values in the Status column indicate the progress of each workflow instance. Possible statuses include:
- In Progress: The workflow is running and waiting for a step to be completed.
- Overdue: The workflow is running and has not been completed by its specified due date.
- Failed: An error has caused the workflow instance to stop.
- Stopped: An authorized user manually stopped the workflow.
- Completed: All workflow steps have been completed.
The tiles at the top of the Current and Archived tabs show totals for all workflow statuses currently displayed in the table.
- Select the Filters icon to specify which workflows to view in the table. You can filter by workflow status and whether you want to view workflows only in the current Workspace.
- Select the Settings icon to specify which columns to display in the table, as well as reorder displayed columns.
- Select a row to view more information about a workflow instance in the Details panel.
Tips
- You can also access the Monitor Workflows page on the User menu. In the header, select your username, and then select Monitor Workflows.
- Select the Download link at the bottom of the page to export the contents of the current table to Microsoft Excel.
