Remove an Assigned Notebook Topic
Remove a notebook topic from its assigned object. You must have the Edit privilege assigned for the object in order to remove the existing notebook topics from that object. All notebook topic contents are deleted when the topic is removed from the object. Notebook topics are supported for activities, WBSs, and projects.
To remove an assigned notebook topic:
- Navigate to the page:
- Navigate to the Activities page
- In the object selector, select ﱆ Project or Program, and then select a project or a program from the list.
- From the Main Menu, select Schedule, and then select Activities.
- Navigate to the WBS page
- In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
- From the Main Menu, select Schedule or Scope, and then select WBS.
- Navigate to the Projects page
- In the object selector, select ﱆ Project.
- Select View Projects List.
- Navigate to the Activities page
- Ensure the Notebook Topics column is displayed on the page.
- In Settings, Notebook Topics is located under General in the Columns tab. For more information, see the Configure a Column topic.
- In the Notebook Topics field for the activity, select Notebook Topic .
- In the Notebook Topics panel, select the Context menu of the notebook topic, and then select Delete.
- Select Yes in the confirmation dialog box to delete the notebook topic.
Note: The notebook topic assignment is removed from the object and all notes and attachments are deleted, but the notebook topic still exists in the workspace and can be assigned. To delete a notebook topic from the workspace, see Delete a Notebook Topic from a Workspace.
