Download the Activities List from the Schedule Comparison Page

In some situations you may only want to download the Activities List from the Schedule Comparison page without including additional data that is available on the full page. You can download a spreadsheet that contains only the Activities List from the Schedule Comparison page in both Compare Mode and Merge Mode.

To download the Activities List:

1. In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
2. From the  Main Menu, select  Schedule, and then select Schedule Comparison.
3. In the Activities List, make any needed changes to activities that you would like to reflect in the downloaded spreadsheet.
4. Select Download from the toolbar directly beneath the Activities List. In Merge Mode, any activities that have been further selected for merge inclusion will display an X beside the activity name in the output .xls file.

   Note: Users must have at least one of the following project-level privileges to trigger the merge process from the Schedule Comparison page:

   • Merge Activities to Current Schedule - Enable
   • Merge Activities to Baseline - Enable
   • Merge Activities to Scenario - Enable

     The Merge toggle will be hidden on the Schedule Comparison page for users who do not have at least one of these privileges.

Tips

• In Merge Mode, you can also download the complete Activities Report from the Merge Selected Activities dialog box. See Merge Two Versions of a Project Schedule.
• Change Type information is included in the .xls file in Merge Mode and in Compare Mode.
