Security Permissions for Files

The following security permissions enable access to the files and folder templates functionality in the Files app. Create a workspace permission set to grant users the ability to work with folder templates, codes, and configured fields for your files. Create a file permission set to grant users the ability to view and work with files in their projects, programs, or ideas.

To work with Files, users should have the following permissions:

Tips

• Users can be assigned to folders and files individually or through user groups. Assign users to folders and files directly from the Files Details Window using the Security tab to provide security privileges. See Assign a User or User Group Access to Folders and Files.
