Remove a Role from a Project

Remove a role from a project when it is determined the role is not needed for assignment in the project. A role can only be removed if was assigned from a workspace. If a role is assigned to an activity, it cannot be removed.

To remove a role from a project:

1. Navigate to the project roles page
   1. In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
   2. From the  Main Menu, select  Resources, and then select Role List.
2. Select the  Context menu next to a role, and then select Remove.
3. Select Yes.
4. All changes made to this page are saved automatically.

Tips

• The Owned By column indicates the workspace or project to which the role belongs. Most role information can only be edited in the workspace or project where it is owned.
