Risk Analysis Log
The Risk Analysis log shows details and statistics from the risk analysis process. Select an item in the log list to view details about that item.
Log details include:
- The name of the user who ran the risk analysis
- The workspace, project, and matrix used in the analysis
- Selected run settings
- Indirect schedule and activity duration impacts
- Any risks manually excluded from the Risk Removal Impact Analysis
- The results that were generated
If any issues were encountered during the analysis that require attention, you can view them on the Warnings or Errors tab. When multiple risk analyses as recurring services are triggered simultaneously for a large number of projects, the analysis may fail and need to be retried. If the risk analysis failed but is being automatically retried, the job will display RETRIED status.
Risk analysis might fail if a loop is detected in the activity relationships. A loop, or circular relationship, is caused by an activity relationship that leads back to an earlier activity in the activity sequence. If the risk analysis fails due to a loop, then the risk analysis log lists all activities involved in the loop, starting at the beginning of the relationship logic. To resolve the loop, navigate to the Activities page and view the relationship trace logic for the activities in the loop and remove a relationship.
You can access the risk analysis log from the notifications panel or from the Manage Services page.
