Assign a Form from a Parent Workspace
On the Form Design page, you can assign forms from parent workspaces to the open child workspace. This makes them available for use in the child workspace, but they can still only be edited in their owning workspaces.
To assign a form from a parent workspace:
- In the object selector, select Workspace, select View Workspaces List, and then select a workspace name.
- From the Main Menu, select Workflows and Forms, and then select Form Design.
- On the Form Design page, select Assign.
The Assign Forms dialog box lists all available forms in all workspaces to which the child workspace is subordinate.
- In the Assign Forms dialog box, select all forms that you want to be available for the child workspace.
- Select Assign.
Now you can use the form in the child workspace, but you can't edit it. To do that, you must update its owning workspace. See Update the Owning Workspace of a Form.
