Assign User or Group Access to a Custom Log

Assign a user or a group access to a custom log to allow them to make modifications and view the log. Permissions that you assign to a custom log only apply to the custom log in the project or program that you are currently working in. Only users who are assigned to the project or program or the owning workspace of the project or program are available to be assigned.

To assign user or group access:

  1. In the object selector, select Project or Program, and then select a project or a program from the list.
  2. From the Main Menu, select Summary & Settings.
  3. On the Summary & Settings page, select Custom Logs.
  4. In the table, select a custom log.
  5. In the Permissions detail window, select Assign , then select User or Group.
  6. In the Assign User or Assign Group dialog box, enter the user or group name.
  7. Select the name, and select Next.
  8. In the Permission Set column, select a permission set for each permission type.

    Note: If you assigned a user group that is configured with a default permission set, you can keep the default or select another if necessary.

  9. Select Save.
