Add an Idea
Add ideas to capture and evaluate potential projects and other business endeavors.
To add an idea:
- In the object selector, select Idea, and then select Add Idea.
- In the Add Idea dialog box, complete the following fields:
Note: The following fields apply to the default form for adding ideas. If your application administrator has changed the Ideas Add Form setting, the fields available in the Add Idea dialog box may differ from the following list.
- Name: The name of the idea.
- ID: A unique identifier for the idea. The ID is generated automatically based on workspace settings. Adjust as needed.
- Problem or Opportunity: A description of the issue or business opportunity the idea addresses.
- Proposed Solution: A description of the ways in which the idea resolves a problem or realizes an opportunity.
- Benefits: A description of the anticipated benefits of implementing the idea.
- Select Add to save the idea to the Ideas List as a draft.
Select Add and Submit to progress the idea through the idea workflow.
You can also add an idea from the Idea List page.
- In the object selector, select Idea, and then select View Ideas List.
- In the table, select the workspace where you want to store the idea.
- Select Add.
