Submit a Submittal
After a submittal item has been assigned, its Required Action value changes to Submit. This means that someone—typically a subcontractor—must upload a submittal file and submit it for approval. When you submit a submittal, its Required Action value is set to Review and the submittal coordinator is notified.
To upload a submittal file and submit it for review:
- In the object selector, select ﱆ Project, select View Projects List, and then select a project name.
- From the Main Menu, select Submittals, and then select Submittals.
- In the submittal table, find the submittal that you need to submit.
It should have a Required Action value of Submit.
- In the Required Action field, select Submit.
- In the Submit dialog box, in the Comment area, add any notes or additional information you want to provide about the submittal.
- In the File field, select the file to upload and submit.
- Select Submit.
